A Night to Remember: Cohort 4’s Inaugural Fundraising Dinner at The Belfry

PRESS RELEASE

On 28 November 2025, Cohort 4 hosted its first ever fundraising dinner — a milestone event that brought one hundred guests together at the prestigious Belfry Hotel & Resort in North Warwickshire. It was an evening filled with warmth, generosity, community spirit, and a shared commitment to supporting some of the most vulnerable women and girls in our region.

The night began with a remarkable keynote from the Rt Hon Dame Penny Mordaunt, who delivered an energising and optimistic speech. She reminded us that even when the national mood feels heavy, there is still so much to celebrate, so much potential to unlock, and so much good being done in communities like ours. Her reflections on hope, resilience and public service resonated deeply with our guests and set the tone for the evening.

We were then treated to a lively and entertaining auction, expertly led by local celebrity auctioneer Richard Winterton. His charisma and skill kept the room buzzing as guests bid on a range of fantastic prizes generously donated by individuals, businesses and sporting organisations.

An Outstanding Result for Our Community

Thanks to the remarkable generosity of all who attended, sponsored, donated, or supported the evening, we raised over £6,500. These funds will allow us to expand our services and reach even more women across our local communities who need safety, connection, and hope.

To everyone who joined us on the night or supported the event in any way: thank you. Your kindness helps change lives — and together we achieved something truly special.
