Happy Birthday to Cohort 4!
On Friday 13th February 2026, we held our birthday celebration event—an afternoon filled with lovely food and spent in even lovelier company. Gathering together to fill the space with laughter, happiness, and community is the best way to both celebrate and showcase what Cohort 4 is all about. We heard from some fantastic, different speakers on the work they do and the importance and impact of what we do. The speakers included the amazing Tina Costello, Karen Lynch, and of course, our own Beverley Gilbert. The words of wisdom shared by these incredible women sowed seeds of inspiration and cheer through their shared experiences and collaboration. We also displayed a wonderful short video put together by the Cohort 4 team and One Media Shed that showcased what Cohort 4 means to us as individuals, and the journey taken to reach where we are.
Whilst we all live different lives and hold close our individual stories, the community we have built together continues to grow in beautiful ways through our shared support of one another. Over these last 12 years, we have created spaces free of judgement where we encourage each other to flourish and welcome both new and regular faces. Cohort 4 is a place that unites us all by embracing what some may view as disadvantages and reframing them as strengths that instead make us the amazing people that we are.
