I have had a bad few days, despairing with my son and his upsetting outbursts, feeling very alone and useless, having to watch my best friends’ funeral online because covid has prevented us being able to hug and cry together 😥

But today I had a message from Cohort 4, just to offer fresh produce to help me provide food for my family whilst I remain struggling to work.
It’s not just the food, it’s the gesture. That another human is thinking of people like me, during these times when it’s so easy to think, out of sight, out of mind….

But this outreach made me feel so much better, just a friendly face asking if I’m ok. I feel so compelled to say thank you but I don’t think anyone could put a price on heartfelt gratitude.

My kids have enjoyed taking some of the funniest shaped carrots to the elderly neighbour and the fellow single mum, so it’s been smiles shared that bit further.

Cohort 4 is more than a group, it’s a mentality that I hope will spread far and wide 🤞🏼🙏❤️

I would also like to commend whoever grew the marrow!!! Woweee we are having stuffed marrow for dinner this evening x
