“I thought that I would tell you my good news. I had an interview on Monday, and luckily I got one of the 5 jobs on offer. It is only a temporary contract until the end of March but hopefully it may continue after that. I would like to thank you and everyone in the Cohort 4 group for making me feel so welcome and being so supportive. It has done me the world of good and boosted my confidence again. I want to keep coming to the evening and weekend events please. I love the group.”
A job; after months of searching, relentless applications, some interviews, disappointment, anxiety and extreme financial disadvantage. We all celebrate with our group member on her tenacity and success. Brilliant news, even though she won’t be coming to the midweek social groups, she wants to keep coming to evening and weekend events as Cohort 4 has made a massive difference in her life, not least, reducing loneliness and boosting confidence and self esteem. One woman’s success is celebrated by our whole group!
